Here's How We Can Develop An UNFORGETTABLE Experience...

School Assemblies & Classroom Visits

Interactive, high-energy presentations that turn weather into the best part of the school day. Depending on the topic, we'll even bring the green screen so that students can become a Meteorologist! Sample topics include:

🌦️ A Day in the Life of a Meteorologist

Students get a behind-the-scenes look at TV weather forecasting, then deliver their own report using our green screen setup!

💧 Why the Water Cycle Rocks

This essential Earth science topic comes alive with visuals, motion, and interactive moments students won’t forget.

⚡️ The Science of Storms

We break down how lightning, thunder, tornadoes, and hurricanes form—using kid-friendly demos and “Whoa, that’s cool!” energy.

🌍 How Climate Change Hits Home

From rising temperatures to local weather changes, we connect the global issue of climate change to what students see in their own neighborhoods.

🛰️ Weather Tech: Satellites, Radars, and Forecasting Tools

What powers a weather forecast? Students explore the high-tech tools meteorologists use to track storms and save lives.

Edible Weather

Science you can see, touch, and taste! Our Edible Weather program includes 20 hands-on, little to no-heat recipes that explore weather and climate through food. From our popular "Cloud Parfaits" to "Thermal Updraft Tacos," it ties directly to a core STEM concept like condensation, convection, or the layers of the atmosphere. Ideal for classrooms, assemblies, and science nights, these lessons are fun, memorable, and totally snackable.

Books

We have several super fun, NGSS-aligned books that get families talking, learning, and coloring together.

The Storm Show

Part science, part dance party—our weather assembly + DJ party combo is a can’t-miss school event!  After students request their favorite weather song, we talk about what kind of weather it symbolizes and we break down how to show your  weather-themed moves like “Dance Like a Tornado” and “Freeze for a Cold Front.”

Virtual Lessons

We bring the weather magic straight to your screens. We have a database of dozens of lessons on every type of weather system.

Here's some examples

Public Speaking

Confidence. Clarity. Career-Ready Communication.

At Drizzle Weather, we don’t just teach students about the weather—we teach them how to speak like the pros.

Our Public Speaking & Media Skills Program gives students the tools to communicate clearly, confidently, and authentically in any setting—from classrooms to green screens to future careers.

The Weather Workout

It’s a high-impact, standards-aligned weather education program built for the gym—designed to get students moving and thinking. We use real weather concepts like heat waves, tornadoes, and wind resistance and transform them into full-body, high-energy workouts that meet PE and STEM goals at the same time.

STEM Fashion Show

Let your students strut their science! In this 2-hour experience, kids dress up as their favorite weather systems, learn about atmospheric phenomena, and create their own paper-based models. It’s a confidence-building, creativity-boosting blend of science and self-expression.

Drone Storm

Let your students become the storm chasers! In this thrilling 60-75 minute program, we blend weather science with live drone demos to show how meteorologists use drones to study storms. Students help guide drone flight paths through mock weather systems and even simulate a real storm chase. It’s the perfect fusion of tech, teamwork, and STEM in action.

Standards Alignment

Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) Aligned across Grades K–8

  • K-ESS2-1: Describe patterns of local weather

  • 3-ESS2-1: Use data to predict seasonal weather

  • 3-ESS3-1: Evaluate solutions that reduce weather-related hazards

  • 5-ESS2-1: Model Earth’s systems (atmosphere, hydrosphere, etc.)

  • MS-ESS3-2: Analyze natural hazards and human impact

Drizzle Weather incorporates hands-on demos, edible science activities, and green screen reporting to support inquiry-based learning and real-world application.

ELA Standards (CCSS / NJ / NY/ MA/ CT)

Supports Speaking, Listening, and Writing Goals

  • SL.2.4–SL.8.6: Present information clearly using appropriate facts

  • W.3.2–W.5.8: Write informative/explanatory texts about weather and climate

  • L.4.6: Use domain-specific vocabulary in speaking and writing

  • RI.3.7: Interpret information presented visually, orally, or quantitatively

Green Screen Forecasting & Public Speaking modules help students communicate science confidently and effectively—on camera and in person.

Career Readiness & Life Literacies (NJ & Workforce Development Goals)

  • 9.2 Career Awareness and Planning

  • 9.4 Communication & Digital Media Literacy
