With years of experience on TV and in front of live audiences, Jason connects with students, energizes staff, and leaves everyone talking about the weather in ways they never have before.

Jason Frazer is the CEO, Meteorologist and Chief Fun Officer of Drizzle Weather, a STEM Education Entertainment Company that makes science fun, delicious, and unforgettable. Through Edible Weather, Jason turns climate and weather concepts into hands-on experiments kids can eat like cloud parfaits, radar ripple dip, and donut hail balls. He is also the author of two books, including Edible Weather: Science You Can Eat and Weather Alert! A Coloring & Conversation Guide for Families. These lessons are aligned with the Next Generation Science Standards. In addition to leading Drizzle Weather, Jason serves as an adjunct professor at Fordham University, where he helps students sharpen their storytelling and public speaking skills.
Before launching Drizzle Weather, Jason was a Meteorologist and Co-Host for FOX Weather, the 24/7 weather streaming service from FOX News. Jason helped launch the network in 2021. His contributions included leading a documentary on turbulence called Fasten Your Seatbelts and helping to cover several weather events including Hurricane Ian, the New Jersey earthquake, Tropical Storm Harold, the solar eclipse, and more.
In addition to his TV work, Jason has extensive radio experience. For six years, his weather reports could be heard on City News 680 in Toronto, Canada. It is consistently ranked one of the top 5 most listened to stations in Canada. His most memorable moment was in 2018 when he helped listeners navigate their way through a Tornado.
For two years, Jason Frazer worked for WKYC Studios in Cleveland, OH. He joined the station in September 2019. Each weekend, he co-anchored the weekend news with his wife Romney Smith. In addition to informing Northeast Ohio about the latest storms and temperature changes, Jason reported on various news stories including the Coronavirus pandemic and its impact to Ohio. Jason has helped Ohioans navigate through Severe Thunderstorms, Winter Storms, and Tornadoes.
In 2017, Jason took a huge career leap, transitioning from more than 9 years of Reporting and fill-in Anchoring to Meteorology. He returned to school while also working as a Forecaster for WTGS-TV Fox 28 in Savannah, GA. He not only helped thousands of viewers navigate through Hurricanes Irma, Michael, and Florence, he also helped them through countless Severe Thunderstorms, Tornadoes and Winter Weather. He also was a huge advocate of school visits and helping kids understand the value of pursuing STEM careers. He visited more than 60 schools in more than 20 school districts. His efforts led to significant ratings growth during the 10pm newscast during his 2 years.
Jason has numerous hobbies including DJing, cooking, traveling, bowling, football, whitewater rafting, wine tasting and acting. He is a huge NFL fantasy football fan and one of the best Spades players you’ll ever meet. You have been warned!
