Our programs are designed for K–8 students, with our most popular experiences tailored for grades 3–7. We also offer a specialized preschool program, Little Weather Watchers, for younger learners.

We are based in New Jersey and serve the NY, NJ, CT, and PA regions, with travel available internationally for programs and events. We have done programs in San Diego, Chicago, and Baltimore just to name a few.

Yes. Edible Weather can be done remotely. We charge a virtual fee of $350 per session. Starting Fall 2026, school districts and after school programs can subscribe to our 12-month Virtual Lesson Library, which includes 25+ video-based experiments and activity guides.

Pricing depends on the type of program, group size, and duration. We offer single-session experiences to multi-week programs. We’re happy to customize something that fits your budget.  We start at $650 for in person programming. We start at $350 for virtual programming.

Most programs run 45–60 minutes, but we also offer shorter preschool sessions (20–30 minutes) and extended workshops or multi-day programs depending on your needs.

For Edible Weather, we prefer 30 students or less for each session. However, we can do large assemblies and invite up several students to help us at different points. For the Storm Show, our partners are not limited to any number of participants. Fun Factoid... The largest Storm Show we have ever done featured close to 800 students. The largest Edible Weather class was 110 kids.

We want every child to be able to fully participate in our experience. Before each visit, we work closely with our school or program partners to review all ingredients in advance.

We’re happy to make substitutions with at least 24 hours’ notice and have successfully adapted our experiments to meet a wide range of needs, including kosher, halal, nut-free, and lactose-free environments. Our goal is to ensure that every student can safely enjoy the hands-on learning experience, no one gets left out.

Yes. Drizzle Weather maintains liability insurance and can provide a Certificate of Insurance (COI) upon request.

Yes! We work with school POs, issue W-9s, and provide invoices with net-30 terms.

We’re flexible! Most programs can be held in a classroom, cafeteria, gym, or multipurpose space.  We can adapt to gyms, cafeterias, multipurpose rooms, or classrooms. We bring all ingredients, supplies, and materials. Set-up/tear-down is quick and hassle-free.

We recommend booking 3–6 months in advance, especially for peak seasons like Fall and Spring. Many of our programs begin booking up to 18 months ahead, and we already have dates reserved for next year. That said, if you have a last-minute request, we’re always happy to try and make it work based on availability. Click “Contact Us” to check availability and get started.
