The New York State Education Department's climate education framework, and the frameworks of every other mandating state, are organized around three core questions. Drizzle Weather's curriculum is architected to answer each one through age-appropriate, hands-on, NGSS-aligned instruction.
Most districts received the climate education requirement with vague implementation guidance, no dedicated budget line, and teachers who were never trained to deliver it. The result? A compliance gap that leaves administrators scrambling .

What is Climate Change?
Foundational weather and climate science that builds understanding from the ground up. Students learn the water cycle, cloud formation, atmospheric pressure, and how Earth's systems interact, because you can't understand climate change without first understanding weather.
What are the impacts?
Severe weather, shifting patterns, coastal flooding, heat waves, and extreme events — taught through hands-on experiments that connect global change to students' own communities. This is where broadcast expertise matters: our founder has covered hurricanes, tornadoes, blizzards, and floods on national television.
What are the solutions?
Climate resilience, preparedness, and action. Students don't just learn what's happening — they learn how communities prepare, adapt, and mitigate risk. This pillar also introduces green careers, giving kids a vision of how they can become part of the solution.
